Miscellaneous Parts
Alongside the core pump, cyclone, flotation and screening ranges, UMA manufactures wear parts across the rest of the plant and the mine site — anywhere abrasion, corrosion or impact is shortening the life of a component.

Directly interchangeable with leading OEM equipment
Valves, dart plugs and discs
UMA manufactures ball valves, pinch valves, dart plugs and discs, with custom design, modification and moulding to suit. Savannah Mine report changing the two liners in their UMA lined ball valve on average every 300 days, with a change-out taking four to six hours.
We also refurbish DeZurik eccentric plug valves. Chloroprene is the typical plug facing material — we replace it with UMA polyurethane for greater wear and longer life.
Cable handling equipment
Cable jumper blocks are used for light vehicle cable crossover points around the mine site — easily lifted and placed over the cable for permanent or temporary crossover. Cable relocators eliminate cable damage and kinking while maintaining minimal bending radius.
Heavy duty cable crossovers are supplied complete for field use with all high voltage trailing cables, suitable for bulldozers (D11), loaders and rear dump trucks. Cable hangers are designed specifically for trailing cable relocation, anchoring and cable tower support.
Hungry boards and bumpers
UMA manufactures hungry boards and bumpers for shuttle cars, moulded in wear-resistant polyurethane to survive the impact and abrasion of continuous loading duty.
Larox and disc vacuum filter parts
UMA reconditions parts to suit the Larox pressure filter press — re-coated scraper blades and re-coated rollers — saving up to 50% on operating cost against new OEM components.
Disc vacuum filter press elements are manufactured to suit all brands in a UMA new design: precision engineered to interchange with existing equipment, easy to install, longer wearing and with less downtime.
Feed chute liners, impact bars and classifiers
Liners to suit mill and SAG feed chutes are supplied in a UMA new design, or existing chutes can be refurbished. UMA polyurethane is laid thicker on bends to compensate for wear, is more economical than ceramics, and removes the need to keep refurbishing ceramic tiles.
We also supply polyurethane impact bars and panels for ball and SAG mills, and high wear resistant liners for shoe classifiers.
